Norbert’s was the first company to realize the potential
of using velcro to transform spotting blocks into a portable
system for teaching reverse Hechts, handchanges, Higgins, Healys, pirouetting, all varieties of Tkatchev and Yeager timers, backstraddles, bails and more.

The concept--joining blocks together in order to create dual spotting decks with a canyon between them into which a gymnast can drop--became reality in 1994 when Norbert's unveiled our original Canyon Bar Blocks.

The success and acceptance of Canyon Bar Blocks inspired the development of our Beam Doc. A year later, Norbert's introduced our Grand Canyon Bar Blocks--wider blocks that enable the creation of a narrower "canyon".

All Norbert's Original & Grand Canyon Bar Blocks feature a sturdy polyethylene/100 ILD polyfoam filler with 18 oz. vinyl-coated polyester covers and 4" wide velcro fasteners.
