Canyon Bar Blocks

­Norbert’s was the first company to realize the potential of using Velcro to transform spotting blocks into user-adjustable stackable spotting systems for teaching reverse Hechts, handchanges, Higgins, Healys, pirouetting, all varieties of Tkatchev and Yeager timers, backstraddles, bails and more.

The concept--joining blocks together in order to create dual spotting decks with a canyon between them into which a gymnast can drop--became reality in 1992 when Norbert's unveiled our original Canyon Bar Blocks.

The success and acceptance of Canyon Bar Blocks inspired the development of our Beam Dock in 1993. A year later, Norbert's introduced our Grand Canyon Bar Blocks--offering even wider blocks in three varying heights to permitcreation of a narrower "canyon".

All Norbert's Original & Grand Canyon Bar Blocks feature a combination  of crosslink polyethylene/100 ILD polyurethane foam filler,  ultra-durable 18 oz. covers and 4" wide velcro fasteners.  All are available in your choice of Royal Blue, Red or Green
